Anders Bringdal

Anders Bringdal of Sweden won the World Cup slalom title in 1987 and the course racing title in 1988, the year he also won the overall ranking at the World Cup on Sylt. Later he turned to speed sailing: he was overall speed world champion in 2009 and 2010 and set a Swedish 500-metre record of 51.45 knots.
