Josh Angulo won the PWA wave world title in 2003 and 2009, sailing under the Cape Verdean sail number CV-1. Before that he had been the US wavesailing champion in 1998. The PWA credits him with being the first to windsurf Jaws, the big-wave reef on Maui.
